Following the success of last year's inaugural NI Derby, several local, Scottish and Irish trainers and owners have brought their dogs to compete again for the £25,000 grand prize, which, along with the trophy, will be presented to the winner of the Final on Saturday 23rd June.
At this prestigious event last year the Champion, Loughview Gem, won the Derby in 29.56 seconds for trainer Francie O’Brien and owner Peter Corr. So will it be another Northern Irish winner this year?
There are an array of activities planned at the track again for this year's event and Sky Sports will be covering the Final, but until then we will keep you posted on all the news, results and coverage from every round.
Captain Scolari overcame a poor draw in trap five to win the second running of the Bettor.com Northern Irish Derby at Drumbo Park.
